I’m honoured and privileged to have an opportunity to share my story. I’ve experienced both great loss and great wins in my lifetime. Watch as I describe my life journey, taken from humble origins to one of love and collaboration, asking us to play our part in leaving the planet better than we found it.
My involvement with Science of Spirituality goes back to when I was initiated by the great spiritual Adept, Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj (1894-1974) in 1965. One of the things that attracted me to this Path was the fact that the universal spirituality that was transmitted to its practitioners from every possible religious or philosophical persuation, was always given freely. Another was the ancient legacy and the power of the living Adept to be able to transmit experiences of the universal Light and Cosmic Sound at initiation (again, free of charge). Over the years, a small but dynamic group developed in and around Vancouver, and I have been fortunate to serve in various capacities.
By late 2005, our group, which had been looking for a permanent site for our meditation and Satsang meetings, found an ideal property at the busy intersection of Steveston Highway and Shell Road, Richmond. Along with the members of our group, my family and I have been instrumental in acquiring and developing the site from a barren, dilapidated condition to a beautiful, pristine garden and facilities. The following slideshow depicts the evolution of the Centre to its inauguration by the living spiritual master of this tradition, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, on April 10th, 2010.
